The Roulette Wheel can be a real fun game to play as long as you have done some research on it.  The first thing I suggest you do is become familiar with the layout of the wheel itself.  The numbers on the wheel are alternate pairs of even numbers and pairs of odd numbers.  The numbers also alternate in colors of black and red. Another important bit of information you should know before you place any bets is that there are two different kinds of wheels. There is the American Roulette Wheel as well as the European Roulette Wheel. The difference between the two is that on the European there is only 37 numbers on it. This make it more player friendly, you have better odds. The European does not have the double zero space.

The American Roulette Wheel has 38 spaces on it this gives the house a 5.26% advantage.  When you play on a European wheel with 36 spaces the house’s advantage drops to 2.7%. As you can see you have a better chance of walking away with some money in your pocket if you find that European Wheel.

Once you have placed your bet, and the wheel is in motion the ball will come to rest in a given number.  It is at this point that the winners are paid out.  It is at this time you musty place your next bet and with the turning of the wheel we do it all over again.  This is a fun game to play however, do some research on how the game works and pay attention to which type of wheel you are playing on.
